Hey folks, how do you know satire is effective? When you get responses like this.
Where they have to reassure themselves that "they are winning!" in order to feel good about themselves and their life's passion. Whenever doubt creeps in, they have to re-establish their sense of moral superiority by proclaiming "you will rue the day you ever supported this!" and yet somehow, life goes on.
We do the work, we find a way, things get better, and they fade into irrelevance. Their projection is real and it shows us that some things will never change.
I kinda snorted my morning tea reading this one. Thanks for the chuckle.
Ans also, I think we need more of this kind of satire. It cuts to the bone. I'm still floored that "the other PITT" thinks they don't have a voice when theirs are the only ones getting attention.
