Welcome to People with Inconvenient Truths about Transphobes (PITT)

We publish stories written and edited by people with first-hand experience in the upside-down world of gender critical ideology. We publish daily (Monday to Friday) when we can for right now and send a recap of the essays plus some interesting other media (books, podcasts, articles) every Saturday. Please share your story with us by submitting to PITTpeople@substack.com . This is a global issue and our parent authors hail from around the world, including (so far) the United States, the UK, The Netherlands, Australia, Ireland, Canada, Spain, South Africa, France, Italy, Poland, New Zealand and Latin America.

We will never charge for full access to our site, we will never use sponsor or affiliate links, we do not profit from this work in any way. We have no incentive besides our own personal histories and experiences of being victims of the “gender critical” ideology crowd. Because we love our kids!

Therefore, if you wish to help us, you can do so by donating to any number of great non-profits (listed further below), or by purchasing any of the following books to help educate yourselves or parents you know and the authors who do great work:

My Child Is Trans, Now What? | Understanding Kids & Gender Identity

The Resilience Workbook | The Transgender Child | What's the T?

PITT provides a space for adult children of parents (and parents) who have been impacted by gender critical ideology to share their uncensored stories, experiences, and thoughts, while remaining anonymous to protect themselves and their families. Our objective is to inform the public about the devastating impact of gender critical ideology on our families through our personal experiences.

We believe that, when people understand the true picture, they will join us in the fight to ensure access to necessary gender-affirming care for children, teens, and young people, and to end the opposition to supporting and loving them unconditionally.

Because we love our kids - it doesn’t matter if they are trans or not

PITT is supported by the efforts of one parent, the author, and you as a non-paying subscriber, and hopefully in the future, organizations committed to supporting parents’ voices and protecting our children in a non-monetary fashion. The views and opinions expressed on PITT are those of the people-authors and do not necessary reflect the official positions of Gender Spectrum or any other group or organization we recommend. We will, on occasion, use satire to make a point.
