I do love a really good takedown of Helen Joyce … and that was a great one!
It’s amazing how the TERFs’ attacks on trans people are invariably exercises in psychological projection and wilful ignorance.
They go on about the evils of “Gender ideology” when they are the ideologues … we just want to be left in peace to live as we please, and as we are.
They claim to have a monopoly of scientific wisdom, when the science is all on the trans people’s side.
They claim to be fighting the threat posed by trans women in female spaces … while fostering an atmosphere of hatred and suspicion that is endangering cis-women as well as, if not more so than trans ones.
Above all, every single word that Joyce and people like her say or write makes it plain that they have absolutely no idea of what the trans experience is actually like … probably because the only trans people they have ever met belong to the tiny number of professional detransitioners who have weaponised their decision to stop or reverse their transition (a choice to which they are perfectly entitled) in an attempt to discredit medical professionals and the whole concept of gender transition.
And the ones who use Christianity as an excuse for hatred have clearly never understood a single word that Jesus of Nazareth ever said.
So kudos to you for pointing this out with such an impressive body of actual evidence to support your case!
